Marisa Milroy is a film and television writer, producer, and actress from Edmonton, Alberta. She is now based between Los Angeles and New York.
Marisa received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Screenwriting from The New York Film Academy. Her screenplays explore the complexities of modern characters in unconventional worlds. She specializes in both Feature and Television screenplays centered upon LGBTQIA+ and mental health driven concepts.
Her films have notably premiered at SXSW and Tribeca Film Festival. She has also placed in prestigious screenwriting competitions such as Austin Film Festival, PAGE awards, and ScreenCraft.
Marisa has studied acting at the highly recognized establishments such as Playhouse West of Los Angeles, The American Comedy Institute, and Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City.
